About Me

“I have come to believe that even when life takes an unexpected turn, God is still at work—bringing hope, healing and purpose out of life’s most difficult seasons.”

Meet Eva Nabunya

Hello !!! welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve found your way to this page, chances are you’re looking for understanding, support or simply reassurance that on something that is eating you up silently. You are in the right place.

For many years, I have walked alongside people navigating grief, loss and life’s transitions. My own experiences have profoundly shaped who I am, but they do not define me. Instead, they have fuelled my passion for creating compassionate spaces where healing, hope and resilience can flourish.

It will be a privilege to walk alongside you like I have done with several individuals, families and organisations as they navigate life’s most challenging seasons, helping them discover that while loss may change our story, it does not have to define our future.

A Safe Place to Begin

Reaching out for support is often the hardest step, especially when you’re carrying grief, navigating loss, facing trauma or adjusting to one of life’s unexpected transitions. If you’ve found your way here, I want you to feel comfortable, you are welcome.

This is a place where your story will be met with compassion, your experiences will be honoured, and your journey will be respected. Whether you are seeking support following the death of a loved one, miscarriage, baby loss, pregnancy after loss, infertility, relationship breakdown, illness, workplace challenges or another significant life transition, you do not have to navigate it alone.

My approach is anchored in both lived experience and professional expertise. Alongside my own journey through profound loss, I have dedicated many years to developing specialist knowledge in grief, bereavement, trauma-informed practice, baby loss, child loss, Rainbow Baby support, Edu-Therapy, women’s health and emotional wellbeing.

Today, I work with individuals, families, communities, healthcare professionals and organisations, providing one-to-one support, workshops, consultancy, training and speaking engagements that encourage healing, resilience and compassionate conversations around grief, loss and life’s transitions.

My work is further strengthened through professional leadership within NHS England, national advocacy, media contributions, published resources and continuous specialist training. These experiences allow me to combine empathy with evidence-informed practice, ensuring that every person and organisation I support receives thoughtful, compassionate and practical guidance.

My commitment to this work is not defined by one qualification or one experience, but by a lifelong dedication to learning, listening and walking alongside others with compassion, integrity and hope. I believe that by continually developing my knowledge and understanding, I am better equipped to support the diverse and deeply personal journeys of those who place their trust in me.

I believe that healing begins when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard and understood. It is a privilege to walk alongside those who entrust me with their stories, and I never take that responsibility for granted.

Whether you’re looking for personal support, professional training, a conference speaker, workplace consultancy or simply a safe place to begin, I would be honoured to walk this journey with you.

Healing begins with feeling seen. Hope begins with being heard. If you’re ready, let’s begin the conversation together.

My Experience with the Grief Recovery Method®

My journey working as a Grief Specialist started with me experiencing multiple losses from my parents relatives and siblings, I thought i had master the art of getting back up after a loss. Then I realised that there comes a time when the techniques that we are using to cope are no longer helpful especially when you experience that one grief that kicks you so hard and affects you deeply. Now mine I will say is losing my 5 precious children through miscarriage.

These significant losses brought me to my knees which made me realise I needed help to be able to get past this rough patch. I tried to overcome the pain that I was experiencing but my coping techniques failed me especially as I was just sweeping everything under the carpet and keeping a bold face. The piled up

unresolved grief was magnified by me inability of always being triggered by the smallest of things and isolation from society that always urged me to get over things and move on.

With training and skills that I gained I decided to go a step further and become a Certified Grief and Trauma Specialist. I am also a Certified Edu-Therapist. I am here to help you with all kinds of losses and grief. You don’t need to navigate life with pain and Isolation.

Unresolved Trauma, Grief and Loss can be a hindrance to your progress when you let things fester for too long. I would like to be that conduit that will help you come out of that cycle of could have, would have, and probably wanting to end it all, by helping you navigate those swept under the carpet issues. Using action steps that have been tried and tested Grief Recovery Method. I am happy to share these steps with you and see you on your journey to living a better life with memories of your loved ones without the pain that you feel whenever you must talk about them. Let’s connect and get you equipped.
